During CogitechON 2025, held at the Cogiteon Science Centre, Dr hab. Przemysław Spurek presented the outcomes of the research grant “Effective Rendering of 3D Objects Using Gaussian Splatting in an Augmented Reality Environment”, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP).
His talk highlighted the key scientific results achieved within the project, focusing on advances in efficient rendering of 3D objects for augmented reality applications. The presentation also addressed the technical challenges associated with achieving high-quality, real-time visualization using Gaussian Splatting, a technique increasingly important for modern AR pipelines.
